Their diet consists mainly of fruits and figs, as well as insects, frogs, lizards, rodents, small birds, carrion, and eggs.
The Knobbed Hornbill is believed to be a monogamous species.
The female seals herself inside a tree hole for egg-laying to keep out predators.
The Knobbed Hornbill is about three feet tall and long; although with its tail, it is four to five feet long.
